• Surgery: During non-complicated surgery the correction of the nose tip is performed by correcting the soft nasal tissues. During more complicated surgeries the hump of the nose is removed, the position of the cartilaginous and osseous tissues is changed. • Post-operative period:
  • After surgery a patient usually spends one day in the surgery department.
  • Post-operative pain is not often characteristic.
  • A tight dressing is put inside the nose; therefore, it is necessary to breathe through the mouth.
  • During the first 3-5 days there are secretions out of nose. Jowls and eye area swell.
  • Bruising in the eye area disappears during a period of 10-12 days.
  • Tampons from the nose are removed on the 2nd day after the surgery, external dressing is removed one week later. In some certain cases the surgeon may recommend wearing the external dressing for a longer time.
  • 10-14 days later the patient is able to return to his/her daily routine.
  • Final post-operative result is seen after 6 months.
